This new driver/drill from Makita is a great piece of work. I bought this unit just days ago, so this review is just an initial impression.The BDF452HW is super light, easy to handle and has good power. The batteries are physically small, but still pack 18 volts. The L/I batteries have a very flat run-time curve...they stay full power until right at the end of the charge. They recharge in 15 minutes (for real). Makita seems to have capitalized on the advantages of new battery technology and combined it with a well built, smooth, advanced tool.If you need brute power or a hammer drill, this is not the drill for you. If you want a medium to medium heavy duty drill, this lightweight beauty is close to perfect. I'll update this after several months of use. Right now, I couldn't be more satisfied.*Update (04/13/07) After using this drill for several months, I still think it is the best drill/driver in this price/usage range. The batteries are excellent and the available power continues to satisfy me. This drill is lightweight, reliable, feels like quality and has the umph to drill even 2" Rock Maple and drive 2" lag screws into the same Rock Maple with no sweat. After living with it, I'd buy it again!

I make a lot of my furniture. It has become a hobby, and ends up being a lot cheaper than purchasing retail. I have a workworking shed, with all the tools I need setup, including a top of the line wood router. It makes for a great hobby. Thanks for the great information!

My drill showed up literally as I was putting up shelves on a concrete wall. The batttery charger died on my old B&D drill and this one was just great for driving concrete screw anchors. Love the LED light!. Great power. This was a tool only purchase as I already have a cordless circular saw, so I know the Dewalt XRP battey packs are supurb. Only thing I did not like was the sound. At 3/4 speed or greater, it is noisy and not smooth sounding. When you release the trigger it stops on a dime. Also liked the ratcheting chuck.

I've been a finish carpenter for 25+ years, and I've owned my own remodeling company for over 15 of those years. I'd used other's Fein tools on almost a daily basis but the price always upset me. I finally bought the Dremel Multi tool and I can honestly say that it does everything the Fein does for a whole lot cheaper. It does sound a bit different, the motor whines at a higher pitch. The blades are harder to come by but they are much cheaper. I make my own blades out of Japanese pull saws, they aren't offset, but they work just as well for a fraction of the price.In my opinion.....Save your money and buy the Dremel.......

Using a self storage unit can help you store other things besides furniture. I used my <a href="http://www.storagepost.com/locations/new-york/brooklyn/" / rel="nofollow">Brooklyn self storage unit</a> to store holiday decorations and valuables. I know people who have stored their vintage wine collections or even use their unit for band practice. No matter what the case when you get a unit you free up a lot of space and it also allows you to go through all your belongings and that alone can get you to toss or keep items.

      </div>

I bought my Remington 1.5 Peak HP 14" trimming saw about 2 years ago. I use it every spring and fall, and it has delivered every time. It cuts through tree limbs like butter even after 2 years of use. Also, I had a large Mountain Ash die on me in my front yard, and it took me only 45 minutes to have it completely cut down, and then another 45 minutes or so to hack up all of the limbs including the stump. I really thought I was going to have to break out my gas powered chain saw (larger blade), but I never touched it. On the stump I did have to cut chunks out before I could complete the task. The only problem I have with it is after you are done using it you are covered with saw dust.

        This review is from: Remington RM1215U 12-Inch 8-Amp Electric Chain Saw (Lawn & Patio)

I bought my Remington 1.5 Peak HP 14″ trimming saw about 2 years ago.
